Volunteer with We Plant it Forward and give away free trees in celebration of pollinators!

Help We Plant it Forward run our tree giveaway table at the Keep Durham Beautiful Bee Fest at Durham Central Park for Pollinator Week!

As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to raise awareness of the many benefits of trees, promote tree planting, grow our tree canopy, and create both a healthier environment and a happier community!

What you’ll do:

Volunteers will help We Plant it Forward staff prepare for the tree giveaway, which includes putting up the tent, setting up the table, and laying out the materials.

After setting up, volunteers will run the tree giveaway, giving out free trees, and keeping inventory along the way.

Finally, at the end of the tree giveaway, volunteers will help take down the tent, table, and materials, and pack the car.
