Volunteer with We Plant it Forward at the Apex Arbor Day Celebration!
On this day of service, join We Plant it Forward as we engage with the community to grow a healthier and resilient urban forest in Apex through hands-on environmental stewardship, restorative care, and education alongside local tree care experts.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about proper tree planting and help properly mulch trees, and give away free trees!
What you’ll do:
Volunteers will help We Plant it Forward give away free tree seedlings!
Volunteers will also learn from experts how to properly plant containerized trees, and how spreading mulch helps restore local ecosystems.
