Join us on Sunday, September 14, as we collect native tree seeds at Brumley Family Nature Preserve!
At this event, volunteers will have the opportunity to collect native tree seeds throughout the park, with the guidance and support of a leader experienced in tree identification. You’ll learn how to determine which seeds are ready to collect, as well as the best methods for collection.
All seeds will be donated to a local tree nursery.After we finish collecting the native tree seeds, volunteers will also help prepare the seeds for planting at the nursery!
