Clean Water Advocacy

“The capacity of a population to safeguard sustainable access to adequate quantities of and acceptable quality water for sustaining livelihoods, human well-being, and socio-economic development, for ensuring protection against water-borne pollution and water-related disasters, and for preserving ecosystems in a climate of peace and political stability.” - UNWater.org

Clean Water Advocacy

The aim of CleanWater Advocacy is to stand with the United Nations declaration that clean water is a human right. Clean water for drinking, bathing, hygiene is so fundamental to a decent life on earth that it seems like an obvious fact. Yet some would deny that all humans have a right to clean water.

Our mission is to educate people in ways of gathering and conserving water, to find alternate sources where necessary in drought-stricken areas, and to implement water purification plans in areas where water is plentiful but too polluted for healthy human consumption.
